Job summary

NC State University’s Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research seeks a Director of Leadership to guide statewide leadership development programs and executive learning initiatives, strengthening partnerships across North Carolina’s community college system.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the role leads program design, manages partnerships with NCACCP and NCCCS, and oversees staff to advance equitable college access, student success, and the center’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of leadership development and higher education experience.
• Advanced expertise in designing executive programs and measuring impact.
• Proven ability to cultivate senior-level partnerships.
• Strong written and oral communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive leadership programs and statewide partnerships.
• Oversee leadership development portfolio and learning initiatives.
• Represent the Belk Center at external engagements and events.
• Manage staff and align resources with strategic priorities.
