Archipro is conducting a confidential national search for an accomplished Director of Landscape Architecture & Design-Build to join an established and highly regarded firm specializing in custom pools, landscapes, and outdoor living environments in the Texas Hill Country.
This is an opportunity for an experienced landscape architect who wants more than a traditional design role. You’ll have a direct connection to the built work, guiding sophisticated residential projects from the earliest design concepts through construction and final completion.
The firm is looking for someone who brings strong design sensibility together with practical construction knowledge—someone who understands how site planning, grading, drainage, planting, hardscape, pools, and outdoor living elements come together to create a cohesive residential environment.
Just as importantly, this is a leadership and succession opportunity. The selected individual will work closely with ownership, learn the business and established processes, help guide the design team, and play an important role in the firm’s next chapter.
You will lead high-end residential landscape and outdoor living projects from concept through completion, including:
We’re interested in a landscape architect who combines design talent, technical depth, leadership ability, and an understanding of how exceptional projects actually get built.
The strongest candidates will bring:
Texas landscape architecture registration is preferred. Candidates who are not currently registered in Texas should have the ability to obtain registration before performing work requiring Texas licensure.
This role offers a combination that’s hard to find in a traditional landscape architecture practice: design leadership, direct involvement in construction, high-quality custom residential work, and a genuine path toward greater leadership responsibility.
You’ll join an established company with a reputation for quality and craftsmanship, with the opportunity to influence design direction, mentor others, improve processes, and help shape the firm’s future.
For a landscape architect who enjoys seeing an idea progress from sketch to finished environment, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on both the work and the organization.
The anticipated base salary is $115,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience, plus performance bonuses tied to revenue.
Relocation assistance is available for the selected candidate; specific terms will be determined during the offer process.
