Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Director of IT Operations to lead Corporate IT Services from our Fairfax, VA headquarters. The role reports to the Deputy CIO and manages five IT managers, driving reliability, security, and superior service delivery.

You will oversee enterprise infrastructure, define budgets, and mentor a high-performing team, with the opportunity to influence technology initiatives across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL experience and certification preferred.
• Dewberry will not sponsor work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment across IT Operations, other IT teams, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee enterprise infrastructure, including networks, systems, data storage, internet connectivity, security controls, etc.
• Establish, monitor, and improve operational metrics, service levels, standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Direct selection, implementation, enhancement, and support of business technologies and services.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Compliance, etc. to implement security architecture and safeguards.
• Develop and manage operational and capital budgets.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
