Job summary

Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, California, seeks a Director of Information Systems to design, implement, and manage all IT across the campus. You will lead budgeting, infrastructure, and service delivery to students, faculty, and staff.

Reporting to the President, you will coordinate with the Principal and Educational Resources, oversee security, cloud services, and curriculum integration, and supervise a part-time Systems Engineer/AV Technician, while advancing the school's technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• Minimum five years of experience managing complex information systems.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate or relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Experience in an academic setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the IT budget.
• Purchase, install and maintain IT equipment including servers, switches, devices, and security systems.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment.
• Manage software updates, licensing, and service contracts.
• Oversee network administration, security, and disaster recovery planning.
• Train and support staff in technology usage and integration.
