Job summary

Charter One is seeking an IT Director to lead a 30+ person IT team across the Arizona region, with responsibilities spanning secure infrastructure, AI governance, and operational excellence. You will align technology with the school's strategic goals and partner with executives to drive scalable, secure solutions.

You will manage budgets, vendors, and security programs while ensuring high uptime and data privacy for students, faculty, and administrators across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering.
• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure management with leadership experience.
• Experience identifying, selecting, and implementing modern AI tools to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a 30+ person IT team with a focus on professional development.
• Oversee technology stack, cloud architecture, network infrastructure, and helpdesk to ensure high uptime.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for seamless delivery and support.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture including IAM, zero-trust, DR, and data protection.
