As Fervo advances toward major financing milestones as a public company, the ability to manage investor relationships, deliver high-quality disclosure, and shape how the street understands and values Fervo becomes increasingly central to the company’s mission
The Director of Investor Relations will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Development & Investor Relations and work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across finance, legal, and project development. This role is suited for a seasoned finance professional with deep public company experience, strong capital markets fluency, and a genuine passion for the role
The Director of Investor Relations will serve as Fervo’s primary point of contact for the investment community; owning the company’s investor communications strategy and helping shape how Fervo is understood and valued by current and prospective capital partners. This role demands strong financial fluency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical and financial information into clear, compelling narratives for a sophisticated investor audience.
Success in this position means building trusted, long-term relationships with institutional and retail investors, delivering high-quality reporting and disclosure, and ensuring Fervo’s story is told consistently and credibly across all investor touchpoints. The Director of IR will play a visible, strategic role, spearheading quarterly earnings processes, managing sell-side relationships, supporting Board reporting, and helping position Fervo as a pioneering voice in energy.

Fervo Energy is headquartered in Houston, TX. This position requires regular in-office presence at our Houston office, with eligibility to participate in the Company’s hybrid work policy. Some travel is required.
