Job summary

Virginia Beach City Public Schools seeks a Central Office Administrator to coordinate technology integration across PreK-12, the library media program, Planetarium and distance learning initiatives.

The role reports to the Chief Academic Officer, directing program operations, budgeting, and division-wide staff development while collaborating with content coordinators to advance technology-enabled teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Master's in education administration or higher.Must have Admin endorsement PreK-12.
• Experience leading instructional technology, library media, or related programs.
• CAS or doctoral degree preferred and experience in instructional coaching or curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology implementation across PreK-12 classrooms and division.
• Provide leadership for instructional technology integration in schools.
• Oversee budgets for instructional technology, library media, Planetarium, and related centers.
• Develop division-wide staff development and collaborate with coordinators.
• Work with departments to align technology with curriculum and readiness goals.
• Interview and recommend candidates for coordinator and specialist positions.
