Job summary

National Park College is seeking a Director of Institutional Research to lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic planning and accreditation efforts. The role focuses on data-informed decision-making, governance, and the development of dashboards and surveys.

The position requires advanced analytics, familiarity with IPEDS/HLC reporting, and experience with ERP systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; or bachelor’s with progressively responsible institutional research experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft and database software like SQL; statistical software such as SAS is preferred.
• Knowledge of IPEDS, HLC, National Clearinghouse, and Title IV reporting is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to achieve strategic goals and communicate complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of institutional data to support planning and effectiveness.
• Provide data-informed analysis to support policy development and decision-making.
• Conduct statistics, forecasting, and trend analysis related to enrollment and student success.
• Oversee data governance, quality, reporting standards, and business processes.
• Design and analyze surveys to assess performance and inform decisions.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for monitoring and improvement.
• Prepare and submit required federal/state/accreditation reports (IPEDS, ADHE, HLC, NSC).
• Respond to data requests while ensuring privacy and compliance.
