Job summary

Integrated Water Services (IWS) seeks a Director of IT to lead the enterprise technology strategy across multiple sites, drive cybersecurity initiatives, and scale ERP/CRM/HRIS ecosystems. You will partner with the CFO, operations, engineering, and finance teams to align technology with strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven success leading cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise business systems initiatives.
• Experience developing technology strategy, managing budgets, and overseeing vendor partnerships.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel periodically to company locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business growth objectives.
• Lead cybersecurity, risk management, incident response, disaster recovery, and compliance initiatives.
• Oversee core business applications including ERP, CRM, HRIS, project management, and field service platforms.
• Drive data governance, system integration, and analytics capabilities that improve operational visibility and decision-making.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure supporting offices, manufacturing facilities, and remote field teams.
• Lead IT due diligence and technology integration activities for acquisitions, helping unify acquired businesses onto common platforms.
• Build and develop an IT organization while managing key vendor and managed service provider relationships.

Drive Technology Strategy for a Fast-Growing Water Infrastructure Company

Integrated Water Services (IWS) is a leading provider of modular water and wastewater treatment and reuse solutions serving municipal, commercial, industrial, and hospitality clients across North America. As we continue to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, we're seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our enterprise technology strategy and help scale the systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity capabilities that support our growing organization.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO and responsible for the strategy, security, and performance of technology across multiple sites, business units, and acquired companies. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of IT at IWS while partnering closely with executive leadership, operations, engineering, and finance teams.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.


• Proven success leading cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise business systems initiatives.


• Experience developing technology strategy, managing budgets, and overseeing vendor partnerships.


• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to travel periodically to company and acquired-company locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• M&A technology integration experience.


• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, utilities, construction, or water/wastewater industries.


• Familiarity with OT, industrial controls, or SCADA environments.


• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL.


• Experience supporting a high-growth or private-equity-backed organization.
