Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in immunology or related field.
• 5+ years R&D experience in immune-mediated diseases.
• 3+ years exposure to B- or T-cell biology.
• 5+ years experience in inflammatory bowel disease and/or intestinal immunology is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide scientific leadership: define and advance strategies in immunological disease biology.
• Shape discovery strategies for immune-mediated diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease and B-/T-cell diseases.
• Translate biology into therapeutic opportunities by prioritizing mechanisms.
• Advance drug discovery and development programs from discovery toward clinical development.
• Lead, recruit and mentor a high-performing scientific team.
• Build external partnerships with academic institutions and collaborators.
• Ensure compliance with scientific, regulatory and AstraZeneca standards.
