Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily HR operations and ensure effective service delivery.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
Advise leaders on workforce planning, employee development, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and best practices to support compliance and engagement.
Oversee 401(k) administration, employee benefits, and vendor relationships.
Support OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives across multiple facilities.
Conduct employee relations investigations and resolve workplace concerns fairly and promptly.
Partner with leadership on recruitment, retention, and succession planning strategies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate personnel records and confidential HR documentation.
Travel regularly to support training, compliance audits, leadership coaching, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly desired.
One to three years of HR experience required.
Experience working in long-term care, nursing homes, or healthcare environments preferred.
Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
Proven professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels.
Previous experience in 401(k) administration preferred.
Willingness to visit facilities within the region.
