Avid is seeking a Director of HR and Benefits to join our Corporate team. This position will be based in our office in downtown Chicago and support HR functions across multiple states. This position is available immediately!
The Director of HR and Benefits manages the human resources and employee benefits functions for the organization, including HR strategy, payroll, employee relations, talent acquisition support, and the design and administration of benefits programs. This role is critical to supporting a distributed workforce of caregivers, field staff, administrative and corporate employees while ensuring compliance with healthcare and labor regulations specific to the home care industry.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
Work Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years of management/leadership experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Certification: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CEBS certification preferred, but not required
Travel: Inter- and intra-state travel will occasionally be required for business purposes. The employee must have the ability to travel by air and auto, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work with a satisfactory driving record and proof of auto insurance.
