Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments and managing operations.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and safety compliance.

Manage and supervise the housekeeping, pool and public area operations ensuring quality guest services while maintaining operating expenses and meeting budgeted guidelines. Coordinate with management and other department heads to develop and implement housekeeping preventative maintenance and quality control programs. Assists with hotel property inspections of the building’s interior and exterior and compliance with safety standards. Perform administrative duties including employee scheduling, payroll documentation, assignment of duties, occupancy forecasts, linen inventories, and employee evaluations and counseling.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Travel Industry Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge and skills can be acquired. 2 years supervisory and operational experience with housekeeping operations is required.

While base pay starts at $80,000- $85,000, there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
