Job summary

OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels in Lahaina, HI seeks a hands-on Supervisor to manage housekeeping, pool and public area operations, ensuring quality guest service while controlling costs. Base pay starts at $85,000–$91,000 with potential for higher compensation based on experience.

You will coordinate with management and other departments to develop preventive maintenance and quality-control programs, conduct inspections, and handle scheduling, payroll, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Travel Industry Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years supervisory and operational experience with housekeeping operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, pool and public area operations to ensure quality guest services.
• Coordinate with management and other department heads to develop preventative maintenance and quality-control programs.
• Assist with property inspections and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform administrative duties including employee scheduling, payroll documentation, assignment of duties, occupancy forecasts, linen inventories and employee evaluations and counseling.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree required. Degree in Travel Industry Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge and skills can be acquired. 3 years supervisory and operational experience with housekeeping operations is required.
