Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering.
• At least 5 years facilities management experience.
• Hospital plant operation experience with 150+ beds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and control 24-hour operations of Facilities Management departments (maintenance, engineering, grounds).
• Create, revise and maintain departmental policy and procedure manuals.
• Prepare and manage department operating and capital budgets.
• Hire, promote, discipline and evaluate departmental personnel per Bryan Health policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and Joint Commission standards.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess the physical plant and grounds and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate across Bryan Health facilities to implement best practices and support capital projects.
