Job summary

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our Health Services team on the Woods Campus. The role partners with organizational leaders to ensure consistent clinical processes across assisted living units and to educate, empower, and provide psychological safety to residents and staff.

The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate admissions, lead MoCA assessments, monitor nursing standards, and ensure staffing adequacy.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, university or nursing school.
• Minimum of five (5) years equivalent in nursing within a long-term care facility. Specialized knowledge of nursing care of the elderly and rehabilitative nursing is preferred.
• Must hold a registered nursing (RN) license within the State of New Hampshire. CPR (BLS certification) is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and lead the nursing services, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections made by authorized government agencies.
• Make budgetary recommendations and maintain budget variances.
• Coordinate admissions information with Social Service & Wellness teams to assess nursing needs.
