Qualifications

Position Summary

Responsible for providing leadership and management of residents' health and well-being within the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws concerning clinical care.
  2. Collect, analyze, and report on health trends, developing improvement plans as needed.
  3. Collaborate with the Administrator and team to maintain residents' health and safety.
  4. Partner with pharmacy consultants to optimize pharmaceutical services.
  5. Provide clinical expertise for licensed nurses.
  6. Assist with educational presentations as assigned.
  7. Assess ongoing resident needs and update service plans accordingly.
  8. Oversee monthly updates and communicate changes to relevant parties.
  9. Coordinate with other departments to review and adjust service or medication levels.
  10. Update residents' service plans in accordance with regulations.
  11. Participate in community awareness and relations activities.
  12. Maintain communication with residents' families regarding health concerns and care changes.
  13. Inform the Business Office of fee changes related to care needs.
  14. Schedule clinical staff and ensure availability of supplies.
  15. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality resident care, in accordance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; RN preferred.
  • At least 1 year in a nursing leadership role; senior living experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) certification.
