Job summary

Powercast Corp. seeks an experienced Director of Engineering to scale and inspire our hardware team, bridging technical vision and business goals.

You will lead EE, ME, firmware, and embedded teams from architecture through to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and predictable delivery. You will drive engineering excellence, mentor managers, and partner with product, operations, and supply chain to meet aggressive product milestones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hardware engineering experience required.
• 5+ years in senior management leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience bringing high-volume hardware to market with EVT/DVT/PVT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow cross-functional hardware teams.
• Align product roadmaps with business goals across functions.
• Oversee system architecture and DFX/DFM/DFTA compliance.
• Ensure regulatory standards (FCC/CE/UL/RoHS) compliance.
• Implement hardware development cycles to improve release quality.
