Job summary

YMCA of Catawba Valley seeks a Grant Implementation and Academic Director to lead 21st CCLC grant implementation across multiple sites in Burke, Catawba, and Lincoln Counties. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and drive program quality in out-of-school-time activities.

The role requires strong leadership, grant management experience, and a dedication to youth development and family engagement within a YMCA context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in education, school-age programming, or nonprofit operations.
• Experience with budgets, grant compliance, and program monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day implementation of the 21st CCLC grant across all funded sites and ensure alignment with approved plans.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, coach, and evaluate Site Coordinators and support staff.
• Oversee attendance, family engagement, documentation, and grant deliverables.
• Ensure academic programming, tutoring, enrichment, SEL, and student supports meet school needs.
• Monitor data, spend plans, and compliance, and report to leadership as required.
