Qualifications

  • This role requires a minimum bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of grant management experience.
  • Experience working with BIPOC populations and community-centered organizations is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of grant processes, budgeting, and funder relations.
  • Strong written and spoken communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CMA’s grant application process and identify opportunities aligned with CMA’s strategic plan.
  • Oversee grant administration including contracts, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop and manage grant expenditure tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build relationships with funders and partners.
  • Coordinate grant cycle calendars and ensure timely closeouts.
  • Prepare grant materials for board meetings and annual reports.
  • Ensure DEI considerations are integrated into grant decisions.
