Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant, progressively responsible experience leading recruitment and enrollment initiatives in higher education.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive recruitment strategies that strengthen applicant pipelines and enrollment goals.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or coordinating the work of staff, student ambassadors, or cross-functional recruitment teams.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead graduate student recruitment initiatives for master's and doctoral programs.
• Advance student success, retention, and belonging; foster cross‑department connections.
• Drive assessment and strategic improvement using data and best practices.
• Contribute to Graduate Student Affairs leadership, plan signature programs and events.
• Advise student organizations and build partnerships with Duke and external partners.
