LSU is seeking a Director of Graduate Medical Education to oversee the administrative operations of the GME office in Lafayette and ensure accreditation and compliance across all GME programs for LSUHSC in Lafayette.

The role will supervise Residency Program Administrators at the Lafayette campus and collaborate with LSUHSC leadership to align program requirements with state and national standards.

Job Summary/Basic Functions: Under the broad supervision of the Associate Dean for Lafayette Affairs, incumbent will manage the administrative operations of the Graduate Medical Education office in Lafayette and will be responsible for the accreditation processes and compliance of all Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs for LSUHSC in Lafayette. These programs include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine and rotating programs for the LSU New Orleans School of Medicine programs, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Otorhinolaryngology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Urogynecology and Orthopedics.

Other Information About the Position: This position will supervise all Residency Program Administrators based at the Lafayette campus.
