VAL-CO is seeking a Director of Global Supply Chain to provide senior leadership over our worldwide sourcing, demand planning, inventory control, and U.S. purchasing procurement.
This role leads the Purchasing and Analyst teams and collaborates with product management, pricing, and international teams. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in supply chain roles, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

The Director of Global Supply Chain provides senior leadership for VAL-CO's global Supply Chain strategy and execution, spanning worldwide sourcing, demand planning, inventory control, and U.S. purchasing procurement. This role exists to strengthen service, cost, and resilience while supporting growth, and it leads the Purchasing and Analyst teams.
Key responsibilities include demand management/forecasting; inventory optimization; material-control initiatives that improve flexibility and capacity; vendor selection and performance management (cost reduction and Lean support); purchased-material quality controls; and cross-functional coordination with product management, pricing, international sales, and international engineering. You will also evaluate sourcing choices using tariffs, tax structures, freight costs, and currency valuations.
