Job summary

TheRecruiting Pros is actively recruiting a Director of Procurement/Sourcing in Charlotte, NC for a leading manufacturer. You will source domestically and internationally, manage a small team, and drive end-to-end supply chain strategies to support new product development and innovation.

You will forecast demand, manage supplier performance, and balance cost, quality, and lead times using SAP, EPICOR, and advanced Excel. This role offers visibility across departments and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience sourcing a mix of components in manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience managing a team of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global relationships with sourcing partners and vendors.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to maximize quality and cost effectiveness.
• Lead supplier sourcing partnerships and contribute to product development.
• Analyze spend data to identify opportunities and implement demand planning.
• Guide Buyer/Planners and manage RFQ processes with new suppliers.
• Some travel may be required.
