Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, CA is seeking a Director of Product Management for Gene Expression. You will lead a global team, define the portfolio strategy and prioritize new product development across platforms and consumables to drive growth.

The role requires extensive life science product management experience, strong market insight, and the ability to execute go-to-market plans with cross-functional teams while delivering sustained financial performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in molecular biology or equivalent experience required.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10+ years of product management in life science/clinical diagnostics.
• At least 3 years of direct employee management experience.
• Proven track record in product development and market strategies in life science.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers to meet global fiscal targets and business goals.
• Set strategy and manage on-market business; drive new product development prioritization across the portfolio.
• Align pricing, revenue plans with Life Science and Commercial leadership.
• Guide voice-of-customer and market research to inform product development and sales enablement.
• Collaborate across functions to balance time-to-market with market viability.
• Work with Business and Corporate Development on inorganic growth opportunities.
• Prioritize activities to maximize utility of on-market products for emerging applications.
