Job summary

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) seeks a Director of Development Operations to provide strategic leadership for systems, data, processes, reporting, and infrastructure that support PAFA's fundraising program. The role ensures donor data accuracy, security, accessibility, and reliable reporting for leadership and frontline fundraisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Minimum experience in development operations, advancement services, nonprofit database administration, or related field.
• Experience administering Raiser's Edge NXT or similar fundraising CRM; data governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual and multi-year Development Operations strategy aligned with PAFA's fundraising priorities.
• Establish data standards, ownership, change controls, and operating procedures for fundraising data and systems.
• Oversee gifts, pledges, payments, acknowledgments, and related donor documentation with Finance coordination.
• Develop and maintain reliable recurring reports and dashboards tracking revenue, pledges, and donor trends.
• Lead data-governance processes for changes, imports, and system integrations.
• Supervise and develop the Development Operations Associate and coordinate with IT, Membership, and Finance.
