Job summary

EXPANSIA, part of the Aether Aerospace platform, seeks a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to own the budget, forecasts, and long-range plans supporting multiple business units in the defense sector. You will enhance driver-based forecasts, lead variance analysis, and deliver board-ready reports.

You will partner with Controllers, Contracts, and Operations to drive cash flow, margins, and working capital improvements within a fast-growing aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with 10+ years in FP&A or program finance.
• Experience in government contracting and multi-unit financial performance.
• Experience with firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, and time-and-materials contracts.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with integrated forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Own annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range plan across business units.
• Lead monthly performance reviews and variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Standardize forecast templates, planning tools, and dashboards across units.
• Prepare executive and board reporting with concise commentary.
