Job description and Summary

ECI Management Group is seeking a Director of Food Service to oversee campus dining operations, manage staff, and ensure safe and proper food handling at our University of North Texas, Dallas Campus.

About the Job: The Director of Food Service will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the campus dining program, including operational oversight, staff management, and budget management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, able to motivate staff, and can improvise and be service-minded.

Responsibilities:

1. Cafe and Starbucks Operational Oversight
2. Catering and Events - Work with clients and staff to promote and execute the safe and successful outcome for clients and partners
3. Manage and supervise the training of staff
4. Budget Management - Control Food and Labor Costs
5. Communication - Ability to communicate and coach with students, staff, and partners in a positive way

Qualifications:

1. 3 to 5 Years of Experience in Foodservice Management
2. Degree Desired or equivalent experience.
3. Budgeting and Cost Management Experience
4. Positive Attitude, Willingness to work, and understanding of Food Service in this environment
5. Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs to waist level or a shared weight of 100lbs
