Job summary

The Common Market seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead the Philadelphia distribution center, overseeing inbound receiving, inventory, order fulfillment and on-time delivery. This role ensures safety, staffing, cost control, and continuous improvement while aligning with organizational goals.

You will supervise warehouse and driver teams, drive improvements in food safety compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and VP of Operations to support growth.

Qualifications

• Operations/logistics leadership with frontline supervision.
• Experience in food distribution or perishable goods preferred.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and KPIs understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Philadelphia distribution center operations end-to-end.
• Oversee inbound receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and delivery.
• Develop staff and manage budget, labor, and operating costs.
