Callaway Resort & Gardens is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead, develop, and elevate the F&B operations across the property. This key leadership role is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional guest dining experience in all restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering outlets.

Callaway Resort & Gardens (CGR) is an iconic 2,500-acre resort destination featuring a variety of lodging choices, unique garden attractions, seasonal special events, 36 holes of golf, fishing, biking trails, and residences. Located in scenic and historic Pine Mountain, Georgia, Callaway reflects the dream of its founder Cason J. Callaway 75 years ago. Currently CGR is part of Herschend Enterprises, Resort and Lodging Division, as part of a family of companies focused on family entertainment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a strategic plan for food and beverage operations to meet business objectives and enhance the guest experience.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and staffing.

Hire, train, and motivate a high-performing team of food and beverage professionals, including chefs, cooks, servers, and bartenders.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure the highest quality products are used in food and beverage operations.

Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate food and beverage offerings for events and special occasions.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Monitor industry trends and incorporate new ideas and concepts into food and beverage offerings.

Manage the guest feedback process to continuously improve the guest experience.

Proven success in managing multiple food and beverage outlets, with a track record of delivering exceptional service and profitability across all venues.

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large team.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of current trends and innovations in food and beverage operations.

Experience managing budgets and forecasting financial performance.

Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
