Job summary

Divergent Alliance in Algonquin, Illinois seeks a Director of Fleet & Supply Chain to lead equipment, warehouse and supply chain operations from our Algonquin office. This senior role oversees a national fleet and reports to the executive team.

Pay range is $155,000-$185,000 with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of progressive fleet, equipment or supply chain leadership experience.
  • Background in construction, utility, heavy civil or transportation.
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations, driver qualification, ELD and IFTA.
  • Experience managing multi-state operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical, systems and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Proven people leadership and team development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all fleet operations including maintenance, repair, replacement planning and asset lifecycle management.
  • Manage total cost of fleet ownership and operating budgets.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across DOT, equipment certification, inspection and registration requirements.
  • Oversee telematics and fleet management systems.
  • Lead and develop the fleet, maintenance and warehouse teams.
  • Direct warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, staging and materials issue.
  • Manage vendor, dealer and third-party service relationships and contracts.
  • Develop equipment rate structures and reporting for operations and estimating.
  • Support equipment mobilization for projects and emergency response events.
  • Partner with finance on capital planning, procurement and budgeting.

Divergent Alliance is seeking a Director of Fleet & Supply Chain to lead our equipment, warehouse and supply chain operations from our Algonquin, Illinois office.

This role oversees a national fleet of specialized construction and utility equipment, along with the tooling, materials and logistics that keep our crews working. It is a senior leadership position reporting to the executive team.

Pay Range: $155,000-$185,000
