Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director of FinOps and Cloud Optimization to lead enterprise cloud and AI cost governance from Westlake, TX. You will define strategy, oversee forecasting and budgeting, and drive optimization with engineering and finance to improve cost transparency and ROI.

The role requires extensive experience in FinOps and cloud economics, with strong executive communication and leadership capabilities to guide senior leadership decisions.

Qualifications

10+ years in FinOps, cloud financial management, or tech finance.
Experience leading enterprise-scale optimization and governance.
Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, cloud economics, billing models.
Experience with AI platforms including generative AI.

Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise FinOps strategy across cloud and AI.
Lead executive reviews of cloud and AI spend with senior leadership.
Drive forecasting, budgeting, chargeback, and showback programs.
Partner with engineering to improve utilization and cost transparency.
Lead FinOps tooling, tagging governance, and reporting.
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards.
