Job summary

The Parts Authority is seeking a Director of Corporate Finance to lead FP&A, long-range planning, and treasury activities in a private equity–backed environment. The role is hybrid with on-site work at Port Washington three days per week.

You will partner with the CFO, sponsor deal team, and the board to drive the value creation plan, manage lender and investor relationships, and position the business for growth and an eventual exit, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in progressively senior finance roles within PE-backed or PE portfolio environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Strong understanding of credit agreements and lender reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver board-ready materials and sponsor presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A, annual budgets, long-range plans, and forecasts aligned to the value creation plan.
• Prepare board and sponsor reporting packages with KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
• Manage lender relationships, covenant tracking, and credit agreement reporting.
• Collaborate on capital structure decisions including debt refinancings and add-ons.
• Lead due diligence and integration planning for M&A transactions.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital to optimize liquidity.
• Develop value creation plans and support audit processes and external reporting.
• Build scalable financial infrastructure and models for strategic decisions.
