Director of Finance Transformation

Our client, a global technology and manufacturing company, is seeking a Director of Finance Transformation to join their corporate finance team. This is a high-visibility leadership role driving innovation, automation, and process improvement across the finance organization. The successful candidate will be both a strategic thinker and an operational leader—able to shape the finance function of the future. This is a hybrid position based in North Austin, TX, with relocation assistance available and flexible in-office expectations (typically three days per week).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of finance process improvements, leveraging automation, AI/ML, and digital tools
• Serve as finance's lead on ERP transformation initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams and managing change
• Develop financial dashboards and data analytics capabilities to improve business decision-making
• Define and track performance metrics for finance functions, identifying gaps and leading continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field with 8-10+ years of finance operations experience
• Proven track record leading finance transformation or ERP system implementations (SAP, Oracle, or Workday)
• Experience with advanced finance technologies such as RPA, AI, or machine learning
• Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across business and technology teams

Compensation

Determining compensation for this role depends on various factors including skills, experience, certifications, location, and organizational needs. The salary range for geographies requiring disclosure is $220K - $240K per year, with potential discretionary bonuses.
