Job summary

hireneXus seeks a Director of Finance to lead the finance function in Manassas, VA, guiding day-to-day accounting operations, close processes, and strategic financial planning. You will drive GAAP-compliant reporting, implement strong controls, and mentor a high-performing team.

The role requires 7+ years of progressive financial management with CPA preferred, and a hands-on approach to improve processes and scalability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close.
• Prepare financial statements and GAAP compliance.
• Lead annual budgets and forecasts.
• Manage intercompany cash flow and forecasts.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Support the annual financial audit process.
• Ensure internal controls and asset protection.
• US GAAP expertise including revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Bachelor or Master in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years progressive financial management with at least 3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all accounting operations, including cash management, AR, AP,GL, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and intercompany cash transactions.
• Produce financial statements and schedules per monthly close GAAP requirements.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Support regulatory reporting and local tax filings.
• Assist during audits with documentation and responses.
• Lead annual strategies, budgets, forecasts, and monthly estimates.
