Director of Finance And Administration (Non-profit)

Small not-for-profit organization is seeking a finance leader to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of not-for-profit experience and experience with automated processes. Salary up to $150k. The role requires in-office presence twice a week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Document, monitor, and update accounting policies.
  2. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
  3. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  4. Produce financial-status reports for senior management to improve operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
  5. Oversee cash management and treasury activities.
  6. Ensure timely and accurate monthly close and financial statement releases.
  7. Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector.
  2. Supervisory experience.
  3. Experience managing grants.
