The Accounting and Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the Finance and Accounting functions for all business operations in Texas (Houston and Dallas), including month-end reporting. We seek an organized leader comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting and finance functions for operating entities in Texas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
2. Partner with the Area Vice President of Operations to provide financial insights, driving profitability, efficiency, and cost control.
3. Prepare and present monthly financial results to the President of Operations, including variance analysis and business drivers.
4. Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with operations to develop forecasts aligned with business goals.
5. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations, accruals, and reporting across entities.
6. Support external audits with proper documentation and compliance.
7. Manage and coach the Accounting and Finance team, promoting accountability and professional growth.
8. Experience with Percentage of Completion (project-based work) is preferred.
