Auberle Seeks: Director of Finance
As a dynamic, faith-based nonprofit, Auberle builds strong individuals, families, and communities through more than two dozen holistic programs that reach 10 counties across Western Pennsylvania. We serve more than 5,000 individuals and families each year through five core program areas: Workforce Development, Housing, Young Adult Services, Foster Care, and Behavioral Health. Our staff is comprised of more than 200 passionate individuals dedicated to innovative solutions for our community's most difficult problems. The Director of Finance (DOF) is a strategic, process-minded leader on the executive team who drives continuous quality improvement and performance culture. The DOF supports our programs and mission by ensuring effective management of financial resources, developing strategy and vision, and bringing efficient systems to increase productivity. The position reports to the CEO and is staff lead to the Board Finance and Audit Committee.
The DOF is a dynamic leader capable of managing people, processes, risk, and change in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Vision and Capacity Building: Ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends, build organizational and staff capacity, and hire and develop top talent.
Leadership and Organization: Managing and leading people effectively, developing leaders, and cultivating entrepreneurship.
Business Management: Understanding finance and systems, experience with strategic development, budgeting, finance, information systems, HR, and marketing.
Results: Proven track record of exceeding goals, strong business acumen, P&L management, and problem-solving skills.
Action Oriented: Enjoys challenges, acts decisively, and can lead even in resistance or adversity.
