Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Heart Institute in Miami, FL is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in fetal echocardiography to lead the fetal cardiology team. The role combines clinical and program leadership at a renowned pediatric cardiology center.

The position offers opportunities for inpatient, outpatient, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with affiliation to FIU College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD degree with pediatric cardiology fellowship.
• Advanced training in cardiac imaging and fetal echocardiography.
• Florida medical license or eligibility.
• ABMS board certified in pediatric cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach fetal screening with neonatal/MFM network.
• Provide inpatient care with transthoracic and transesophageal echo.
• Outpatient clinics at main campus and satellites.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance fetal cardiology care.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in the Heart Institute.
• Mentor staff, fellows and medical students toward clinical excellence.
• Strengthen community outreach with MFMs and OBs in the local area.
• Maintain a positive workplace culture to attract and retain staff.
