Nicklaus Children's Hospital Heart Institute in Miami, FL seeks a Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in fetal cardiology to lead our fetal cardiology team. The role includes advanced imaging, inpatient and outpatient care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance fetal cardiology care.

The Director will develop fetal screening outreach, mentor staff, and work within a renowned pediatric center affiliated with FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent with at least three years of fellowship training in pediatric cardiology with additional training in advanced congenital cardiac imaging and fetal echocardiography.
• Five-plus years of pediatric echocardiography experience preferred with fetal cardiology focus.
• Florida license or eligibility for license.

Responsabilités

• Develop outreach fetal screening opportunities with a growing neonatal/MFM network.
• Provide inpatient care with transthoracic and transesophageal echo capabilities.
• Lead outpatient clinics at main campus and satellite locations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance fetal cardiology care.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Heart Institute.
• Mentor staff, fellows and students and uphold clinical excellence in Pediatric and Fetal Cardiology.
• Strengthen community outreach and collaboration with MFMs and OBs.
