Ernest Health’s Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital in Green Bay, WI seeks a Director of Facilities Management to lead daily operation and maintenance of hospital buildings and systems. The role ensures compliance with NFPA, OSHA and Joint Commission standards while managing staff and safety programs.

The position oversees the Emergency Management Program and integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice, guiding facility strategy in a patient-centered rehab

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Four years related work experience or completion of approved, accredited trade school program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Certification or licensing of one of the following is preferred: Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning, or Electrician.
• Certification of successful completion of FEMA National Incident Management ICS100 & ICS200 preferred completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operation and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, NFPA, OSHA and Joint Commission regulations and standards.
• Hire, train, supervise and terminate building service personnel.
• Serve as the hospital's Safety Officer with authority to take immediate action if conditions threaten safety, health or life.
• Manage the Emergency Management Program and align daily practice with the hospital mission and guiding principles.
