Merit Health is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee operations, maintenance, and management of hospital facilities. The role leads a team to ensure a safe, compliant environment aligned with healthcare standards and patient care goals.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, budget management, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to support high-quality care across the hospital campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.
• Seven (7) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in closely related field required.
• 3-5 years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directly supervises a team of facility managers, technicians, and support staff.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of all hospital facilities, ensuring infrastructure runs effectively.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ADA, Joint Commission and healthcare standards.
• Develops and manages the facility operations budget and forecasts expenditures.
• Maintains a safe, compliant, and efficient hospital environment and patient safety.
