Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent is required; college level coursework in a closely related field is desirable
• Experience: Five years of skilled experience in building construction, repair and maintenance that includes two years experience in a managerial and supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Certification in various specialized related training or schooling is desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain, and manage capital improvement planning, physical infrastructure, public facilities, and parks throughout the County
• Focus on proactive preventative maintenance, long-range facility planning, and optimizing building and park operations across all County locations
• Lead a department head role with administrative responsibilities and capital project oversight
