Job summary

Greater Midland is seeking a Director of Facilities and Grounds to lead maintenance, custodial, grounds, and operations teams across all locations. You will develop standards, manage budgets, and ensure safe, high-quality, welcoming environments in all operating units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Certifications in a trade and/or project management preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the organization’s policy.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience supervising employees.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in trades and/or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance, custodial, grounds, and facility operations teams across all locations; ensure culture, accountability, supervision, and staffing.
• Establish and maintain organization-wide standards for facility operations and condition across units.
• Oversee a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Limble) for assets, maintenance, and performance tracking.
• Develop and maintain asset management strategies, including lifecycle planning and replacement schedules.
• Establish KPIs; analyze costs, work orders, labor, energy, and asset performance to drive efficiency.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or equivalent experience

Certifications in a trade, project management preferred

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insurability

Minimum of 6 years’ experience supervising employees
