Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; practical experience can substitute the degree.
• 7–10 years supervising mechanical/electrical or construction trades or equivalent.
• Experience interpreting Fire and Building Code preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee occupational health and safety of all department staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate facilities policies with the Facilities Group and improve team performance.
• Monitor performance, review appraisals, and manage energy use and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards.
