Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in mechanical and plumbing trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and modify HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and medical gas systems.
• Strong communications and managerial skills; proficient with multiple software applications.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and monitors the shop's monthly financials for budgetary compliance and cash flow adjustments.
• Manages and inspects the work of Mechanics; provides periodic reports on activities.
• Oversees maintenance programs for HVAC, boilers, plumbing, medical gas, and plant systems; coordinates contracts and inspections.
• Monitors staff efficiency to reduce salary and overtime costs and enforces policies.
