Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree in Educational Leadership, Administration preferred.
• Professional certification in facilities management or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of maintenance, custodial, and repair services across all district facilities.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Inspect facilities to determine maintenance needs and prepare cost estimates.
• Select, hire and supervise architects, engineers, and contractors on projects.
• Develop and manage the facilities operations budget and procurement.
