Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks an experienced Director of Facilities & Maintenance to lead maintenance and reliability for a growing advanced manufacturing client in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on building a high-performance team and delivering safe, reliable operations.

You will develop proactive maintenance strategies, implement CMMS processes, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and EHS to raise standards and uptime across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in heavy manufacturing or similar complex industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and team development.
• Experience with greenfield facilities, major expansions, or manufacturing startups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing facilities and maintenance organization with a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Establish preventive/predictive maintenance programs, CMMS processes, and KPIs.
• Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, shutdowns, critical spares, and CMMS optimization to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and startup for full-scale production.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and EHS to solve challenges and raise long-term standards.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Facilities & Maintenance to lead maintenance and reliability operations for our client's expanding advanced manufacturing business in Fort Worth, TX.

The ideal candidate is a proven industrial maintenance leader with experience overseeing complex manufacturing operations and a track record of driving reliability, operational excellence, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing facilities and maintenance organization, establishing a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Establish preventive/predictive maintenance programs, CMMS processes, and performance KPIs.
• Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, shutdowns, critical spares, and CMMS optimization to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
• Play a key leadership role in equipment installation, commissioning, and startup, ensuring a successful transition into full-scale production.
• Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and EHS leadership to solve complex challenges, improve performance, and establish long-term operational standards.

• 15+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in heavy manufacturing, chemicals, or similar complex industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and team development.
