Job summary

Skilled Nursing Facility in Cynthiana, KY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and coordinate the maintenance team and ensure all systems comply with safety codes.

The role requires at least 3 years in building maintenance, an associate degree, and strong leadership. You will manage preventive maintenance, budgets, and safety programs to provide a safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree from a technical/trade school preferred with 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA safety requirements knowledge.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage grounds maintenance.
• Schedule repair/maintenance of machines, tools and equipment.
• Maintain utility systems to provide heat, power, gas or air.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and recommend improvements.
• Review plans, requisition tools and supplies for operations.
• Prepare department budget and monitor expenditures.
• Supervise maintenance staff and safety programs.
• Manage TELS and participate in Safety Committee.
• Prepare monthly reports to Administrator.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
