Full-time·Salaried·Reports to the Director of Administration

The Role

Calvary Bible Church gathers on one campus in Neenah, a building we share with Valley Christian Schools during the week. The Director of Facilities keeps that building, its grounds, and its systems safe, secure, and ready for worship and ministry every week.

You will lead the facilities team, manage vendors and contracts, own the facilities budget, and build the systems that let us plan maintenance instead of reacting to breakdowns. Expect to spend about two-thirds of your time managing and the rest with tools in hand when a repair is fastest done yourself.

What You'll Do

• Lead the facilities team: hire, schedule, develop, and hold staff and volunteers accountable.
• Oversee mechanical systems, life safety and code compliance, security systems, and grounds.
• Contract and manage service vendors, using competitive bids for major work.
• Build work-order and preventive-maintenance systems, and keep equipment records current.
• Manage the facilities budget, a 3-5 year capital plan, and facility projects from scope to close.
• Run our shared-campus partnership with Valley Christian Schools, including space, cost sharing, and the bus program.

What We're Looking For

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to worship and serve at Calvary Bible Church.
• Five or more years in facilities, maintenance, construction, or building operations, including supervising others.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing: enough to plan work, evaluate vendors, and make a repair yourself.
• A leader who develops people and builds systems, so the work does not depend on one person's memory.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, building codes, fire and life safety, and ADA.

Preferred:

IFMA (FMP or CFM) or NACFM (CCFM) credentials, OSHA 30-hour training, and experience with security systems.
